Where do I start?
Begin searching for your new home in just 3 simple steps:
  1. Visit our homepage and select a city.
  2. Use the search filters located on the left of the page to narrow down your search results.
  3. Click on the name of the project or property for more detailed information.
How do I Register?
Once you've located a property that you like, click on the 'Get REDgistered' link located on the top right hand side corner of your screen and follow the instructions given below:
  1. Enter your personal details in the mandatory fields, choose a password and click 'Sign up'.
  2. A verification code will be automatically generated and sent to your mobile phone by SMS. To complete the REDgistration process you will need to key in the verification code provided to you and click 'Submit'. If you are an NRI, please proceed directly to step 3.
  3. If you are an NRI or did not receive the code by SMS click 'Did not receive your code?' and a verification code will be instantly e-mailed to you. If you do not receive an e-mail from us, please check your Spam folder or Junk Mail folder.
  4. If that doesn't work click 'Did not receive your code?' to proceed with manual verification.
  5. Successfully submitting the verification code completes the REDgistration process.

How can I change my password?
To change your password simply click on MY RED ZONE located at the bottom left corner of your screen and click on Change Password. Once you have filled in your old and new passwords, click Save.
How can I advertise on your website?

How long does the entire procedure take from the time I send in a query till my ad appears on the website?
This varies from case to case. Once you have submitted your query and your contact details using our online form for advertisers, a sales representative will contact you.

How will HDFC decide my home loan eligibility?
HDFC assesses the customer's repayment capacity while deciding on the home loan eligibility. Repayment capacity is based on factors such as income, age, qualifications, number of dependants, spouse's income, assets, liabilities, stability and continuity of occupation, savings history and existing loan status. Our main concern is to make sure that you can comfortably repay the loan amount.

Will HDFC finance persons of Indian origin holding foreign passports?
As per current guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India persons of Indian origin holding foreign passports are eligible for loans with HDFC.
How is my loan re-assessed if there is a change in status from Non-Resident Indian to Resident Indian?
The repayment capacity of the applicant(s) based on Resident status is reassessed and a revised repayment schedule worked out. The new rate of interest will be as per the currently applicable rate of Resident Indian loans (for that specific loan product). This revised rate of interest would be applicable on the outstanding balance being converted. A letter is given to the customer confirming the change of status.

If you are a developer and you're looking to get your new project or property listed on hdfcred.com, please visit our 'Advertise with Us'section. Once you've completed the form provided, an HDFC RED representative will contact you.
Can individuals list their properties on HDFC RED?
At the moment, HDFC RED provides listings for new properties only. Therefore, we will not be listing properties belonging to individuals just yet.
Why are there only builder projects on the website?
HDFC RED aims to build a comprehensive database of new homes for sale for the benefit of our audience of prospective buyers. Therefore, listings for new properties are our main focus at the moment.
What happens once I shortlist a property on your website?
Once you have short-listed a property on hdfcred.com you can request the developer to contact you for further information or to schedule a site visit or you can fill in your contact details and a developer representative will contact you to guide you through the purchase process.
How and when can I arrange for a site visit for a selected property?
Once you have selected a property you like from the search results, simply click on the property for more information. At any point of your search you can request the developer to contact you for more information or to arrange a site visit.
